Scoring, Flagging & Color Coding
Visualogyx now offers enhanced functionalities for scoring, color coding, and flagging within our templates and inspections.
Implementing scoring, color coding, and flagging in your Visualogyx templates and inspections enhances your ability to evaluate and manage inspection results efficiently. These features bring clarity to your workflows by making it easier to assess performance, identify critical issues, and make informed decisions based on quantifiable data.
By visually organizing inspection results and automating key processes, you’ll save time, increase accuracy, and ensure that no detail is overlooked during inspections. These tools empower your team to focus on what matters most, driving operational excellence.
To simplify the setup, Visualogyx provides preset options such as "Good, Fair, Poor, NA," "Pass, Fail, NA," and others. These presets come with pre-configured color codes that automatically apply to the responses, making the inspection process more intuitive and visually organized.
You can now assign points or cost values to responses in multiple-choice questions (Single-choice, dropdown, and multiple-choice controls). This allows you to quantify results based on your specific inspection needs.
- Setting Up Scores:
- Enable scoring for each multiple-choice question.
- Default values: 1 for good, 0 for bad. Customize these values as needed.
- Option to disable scoring for individual questions or the entire inspection.
- Displaying Scores: Scores can be displayed as either a total point value or a percentage. You can also choose to show scores at the inspection level, page level, or section level.
- Real-Time Scoring: As you conduct the inspection, scores are dynamically calculated and displayed, reflecting any customizations. This feature is particularly useful for those needing real-time feedback or cost estimates based on inspection findings.

The flagging feature allows you to automatically flag specific responses during inspections for further review or action.
- Setting Up Flags:
- Responses can be flagged based on predefined criteria.
- You can assign different colors to flags, making it easy to identify critical issues in the inspection report.
- Flagging in Inspections: Flags are automatically triggered during the inspection process based on the setup in the template builder. This ensures consistency and attention to important details.

Color coding provides a visual representation of the scoring outcomes, making it easier to interpret inspection results at a glance.
- Setting Up Colors:
- Apply colors to multiple-choice responses based on their score.
- Color codes will be reflected in both the inspection process and the final report.
- Color Coding in Reports:
- Colors applied to responses during the inspection are carried over into the final report.
- This feature helps differentiate between varying levels of severity or importance in the inspection findings.

If scoring, flagging, and/or color coding are enabled, they will be reflected in the final inspection report.
- Scoring Summary: A detailed summary of scores, including any customizations, will be included in the report. You can choose to display scores as X out of Y percentage or a total sum of points, depending on your preference.
- Cost Estimation Summary: If cost-based scoring is enabled, the report will automatically calculate and present the associated costs.
- Flagging Indicators: Flagged responses will be clearly marked, with corresponding color codes for easy identification.
